Our Calling & Mission

Several years ago the Lord began calling our family to serve as missionaries and has now brought us to Myanmar to serve long term… or so we thought.

He has since moved us to Thailand in the summer 2021 after serving in Myanmar for almost 5 years. 

We believe the Lord has sent us to equip the saints so they may go out among the people near and far to share the gospel.

​​We have been able to do this through different ministries opportunities in Myanmar and Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Thailand
In summer 2021 we moved to Chiang Mai and planted a new church: Refuge Fellowship Chiang Mai, an International church taught in English.

There are many foreigners in Chiang Mai and has the largest population of missionaries in the region, yet the Christian population in Thailand is 1.3%. The non-Christian, foreigner population is actually so huge in Chiang Mai that some Christian organizations consider it an unreached people group.

Aside from church services and Bible studies we have had many outreach opportunities in the city as well as to the villages. We will continue to follow God’s leading and calling on our lives and we look forward to seeing what His plans are.

Through Refuge Christian Fellowship Yangon, we engaged in ministry in the following ways:

​Church services, Bible studies, Children's ministry, VBS for children, one-on-one discipleship, taught English with the Bible;

Taught at various conferences, partnered with Bible colleges and Churches,  Engaged in various outreaches;

Translated women’s Bible studies to Burmese and Karen languages, and translated a Bible commentary into the Burmese language.
